Building Services Electrical Engineer

RCN UK HQ with travel to other RCN offices as required, 35 per week on a flexible shift pattern, Permanent.

As Building Services Electrical Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure of the London HQ building as well as other Estate offices using your electrical skills and knowledge to ensure continuity of services to our staff and members.

This is a varied and challenging role where you will be expected to get involved in anything from electrical services to assisting with mechanical maintenance, as well as handyman services which sit within the remit of the Building Services team. We'll look to you to provide a positive attitude to supporting all members of the team. This role offers a great way to build your knowledge and develop your potential.

As Building Services Electrical Engineer you will advise and support the Building Services Manager and RCN Project Manager with infrastructure and relocation works across the RCN Estate.

You will come into contact with users of RCN Offices across the organisation, as well as third party contractors, so you'll need enthusiasm, positivity and excellent customer service skills to deliver an exceptional service. You will play a key role in maintaining our stringent electrical safety and operational standards in London HQ and RCN Estate offices. You'll also use your knowledge to advise on infrastructure works for all Estate offices and oversee electrical projects where required.

This role will provide opportunities to expand your knowledge and capabilities by supporting all aspects of the services provided by Building Services including operation of the Building Management System and managing the workload of the Building Service crew when required.
