Salary range per annum £47745 - £53934*

As Project Officer (Job Evaluation) you’ll use your positive attitude, your knowledge of NHS Job Evaluation and personal drive to support RCN members achieve pay justice, primarily by supporting our members with the Review of Band 5 Nursing Roles in Scotland.

It's a job full of possibilities and offers the opportunity to be part of a major project that will see nursing roles appropriately recognised and rewarded, support RCN members realise the benefits of the review of Agenda for Change in Scotland and move closer to pay justice for the profession.

The role will involving working directly with RCN members across Scotland and may involve significant travel.

To join us you’ll need excellent communications and motivational skills and, ideally, a background in a trade union, professional organisation or HR, you will have significant knowledge of the NHS Job Evaluation Scheme and a proven record of driving significant projects.

Whatever your background, you'll be efficient, accurate and show a real customer focus in all you do.

You will need to show adaptability, reliability and the ability to deliver to timescales and a commitment to collaborative working.

*We offer a competitive pay structure with annual pay progression until you reach the top of the salary scale. We normally offer new employees the first point of the salary range, although you may be able to negotiate a higher starting salary depending on your skills, experience and current salary.

Our hybrid working model allows for up to 60% of your working time to be carried out from home. At least 40% of your working time will be spent working in person.
