Are you a dynamic and experienced programme manager ready to lead transformational change in a high-impact organisation? At the Royal College of Nursing we’re an optimistic organisation. And we’ve got good reason to be. We all share the same voice when it comes to changing the shape of the health policies of the future. And as the largest trade union of nursing staff and students in the UK – with over half a million members – all we can see are the infinite possibilities for a brighter future. Join us and you will too.

The Royal College of Nursing is seeking an Integration Programme Manager to drive forward a strategic programme of work that will shape the future of nursing representation in the UK. This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the Integration Director and Steering Committee to deliver the integration of RCNi and RCN.

It's a job full of possibilities as you could get involved in anything from leading a multi-skilled team to deliver a large-scale change programme on time and within budget, managing programme performance, risks, and benefits realisation to facilitating workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and programme delivery meetings.

The ability to foster strong professional relationships and encourage close collaboration between departments is at the heart of this leadership role. You will need proven experience in managing complex programmes and projects across their full lifecycle as well as strong leadership in matrix environments and cultural change initiatives.

An excellent communicator, planner, and stakeholder manager you will need knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Asana.

To succeed at the Royal College of Nursing all you need to do is think bigger, better and brighter. And with an attitude like that, anything’s possible.
