Negotiable Location, 35 hours per week, worked across Monday to Friday, 12-month Fixed Term Contract

As our Content Editor for the Education, Learning and Development (ELD) portal, you’ll use a Content Management System to create, repurpose and maintain content for the web, that will help and support our members and customers across the RCN Group.

You will need to be a subject matter expert on anything from employment law, diversity, and inclusion, to wellbeing, fair pay and career development. We'll look to you to ensure all content produced for the ELD portal, is of high quality and consistent with the brand.

As our Content Editor for our new ELD portal, you’ll use logical thinking and SEO understanding to correctly classify content to ensure it reaches the right audience. Your strong attention to detail will be used to identify missing information and metadata to ensure content is accurately catalogued and presented.

You’ll use your enthusiasm, positivity, and appreciation of good customer experience, to deliver an exceptional service to our members and customers.

You will have the ability to influence and improve the production workflow and technical escalations processes. It's a great way to build on your skills and experience and develop your potential as a Content Editor.

As well as strong content writing and editing skills, to join us you’ll need extensive experience in building solid relationships with senior stakeholders, users/customers, and suppliers. You will also have experience of working closely with an engineering team to improve SEO.

You will need to show adaptability, reliability, and the ability to handle high pressure situations together with a commitment to collaborative working. You will be an excellent communicator, with a passion for consistent and accessible content and an enthusiastic approach to change.
