As one of our 3rd Line Engineers, you will use your positive attitude and your extensive knowledge of IT solutions to deliver and support highly available, cost-effective IT systems and services.
It is a job full of possibilities, as you could get involved in anything from designing new IT solutions for the RCN, to troubleshooting and resolving issues with key IT systems. We will look to you to deliver technical solutions to complex environments across all our business areas. It's a great way to build your knowledge of our work and develop your potential.

Every day is different. You will work alongside colleagues across our whole organisation with Development, Security, and IT Operations teams, to deliver projects from planning to implementation. You will use your skills to enhance our current solutions, providing expert advice and guidance on key infrastructure and new technologies.

As well as exceptional customer service, you will need an in-depth knowledge of designing, implementing, and supporting our key infrastructure technologies that are utilised by the organisation, incorporating 16 UK sites and many remote workers.
You will need a broad depth of knowledge and technical skills across key areas such as VMware, Microsoft Azure and O365 (Server 2016/2019, AD, SCCM/Endpoint Manager, Teams/S4B), and Veeam. You should be constantly looking to upskill yourself using new technologies to support our business.
Certification in the above areas is desirable, but not essential. You will demonstrate your passion and enthusiasm for technology and be a strong ambassador for your role.
Whatever your background, you will be confident, efficient, accurate and show a real customer focus in all you do.
The ability to foster strong professional relationships and encourage close collaboration between departments and teams is at the heart of this role.
