Fundraising and Communications Manager
RCN UK HQ, 35 hours, 12 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment

As the Foundation’s Fundraising and Communications Manager you will use your extensive experience and skills to ensure that we raise funds from a variety of sources to enable the Foundation to make a positive impact on nurses and healthcare.

In this varied role, you will work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to get involved in a variety of fundraising and communications activities. This might include developing our individual giving activities, overseeing our fundraising events or communicating the right messages to our key stakeholders. You will be responsible for securing and growing income from a broad range of fundraising streams including individuals, events, legacies and community fundraising initiatives. You will also play a key role in the delivery of our communications and marketing activities, promoting the work of the Foundation to a broad range of audiences.

A key part of what you do will be to suggest innovative approaches to our fundraising and communications activities. You will ensure that we achieve the maximum benefit from our unique position within the RCN Group, as well as contributing to the effectiveness of the Group. As the Fundraising and Communications Manager, you’ll influence critical decisions about the strategic direction of our fundraising and communications activities.
